On Monday, July 22, Kate Middleton, 31, gave birth to a baby boy at St. Mary Hospital in London amidst a lot of speculation over her due date.
With the world leaders greeting the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge over the birth of their first child and the future heir of the British throne, the whole of England celebrated the arrival of the royal baby.
Prince William, 31, also sent out a small message about his feelings on becoming a father. He said he and his wife could not be happier. An aide also said that Prince William spend his first night with Kate at the hospital suite and their newborn son. Kate also admitted that William changed his son’s first diaper.
Soon after the announcement of the birth of the royal baby, Prince William’s father, Prince Charles, 64, said that he was “overjoyed” about being a grandfather for the first time. He said grandparenthood is a special moment in anyone’s life as he was told by many kind people. So, he’s happy and proud to a grandfather for the first time.
Meanwhile, Prince William and Kate has revealed their baby to the world for the first time the following day, Tuesday, when they left the hospital to go to their home at Kensington Palace.
