Kate Middleton’s First Child To Be Called Philip, If It’s A Boy

kate middleton prince williamKate Middleton and her husband Prince William reportedly have decided to name their first child, Philip, if it’s a boy.

The royals have short-listed the name in honor of William’s great grandfather Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh, according to royal sources. If Kate’s first child is a boy, then the “Philip” will occupy some part of the full name, similar to William’s as his full name is Prince William Arthur Philip.

A source added that the name is very popular with them right now and it could even be the baby’s first name as Prince William is very affectionate of his grandfather. William, 30, will name it if they have baby boy.

Meanwhile, Kate, 31, who is due in mid-July, has claimed that she didn’t know the sex of the baby. She said this while on a two-day visit to Glasgow, Scotland and told reporters that her friends’ keeps texting her names and they also made a short list of names.
