Yes, you heard that right.
It was Remembrance Day on Sunday (Nov. 10), which is the annual memorial service for those who have lost their lives serving in the Royal Armed Forces. And of course, Kate Middleton attended the traditional ceremony.
The 31-year-old Duchess of Cambridge was photographed from balcony, standing with Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London. As per the traditions, the royal family laid a floral wreath, observed a moment of silence, followed by a parade. The whole event is very somber indeed.
However, something happened that infuriates the internet. A series of photographs were released that showed Kate twirling her hair like a 7-year-old schoolgirl enjoying her recess. People commented that Kate, who is married to Prince William, appeared a bit cheery for the somber event, while others concluded that she was just trying to be adorable.
Kate is well-known for being very appropriate during her public appearances, but this looks like she may had let down her down for this one.
Meanwhile, according to British prosecutors, it’s been claimed that Kate alongside Prince William and Prince Harry, may be among the victims of the illegal phone-hacking scandal by British reporters.
Glenn Mulcaire, a private investigator with a London newspaper, who already has served jail for illegally hacking into celebrities’ phones, told a London jury on Tuesday (Nov. 12) that Kate’s name was on a handwritten page of potential targets, named “Target Evaluation”.
Ever since, Kate started dating Prince William when they were in the university more than a decade ago, she has been a subject of immense interest by the British media, particularly by the rowdy newspapers.
