Kate Middleton Paid A Visit To National Portrait Gallery

Before weeks away of London Games,2012, Kate Middleton, one of the donor of National Portrait Gallery, visited it in order to take in “ Road to 2012: Aiming High” – A Presentation documenting the preparations for the Olympic Games in London.

According to the Telegraph this exhibition is the Portrait Gallery’s biggest photographic assignment, a long three years project that covers the athletes and organizers of the events. That’s why the Duchess dressed up in her Olympic best ; a blue sheath dress designed by Stella McCartney which matches with Team GB’s Olympic uniforms by both color and designer. She also wore a rare piece of statement ornament: a long multi- strand circlet necklace by Cartier. Her choice of color is appreciated by all but there creates both a positive and negative feeling on her wearing necklace.
