Kate Middleton has been hailed as an âincredibleâ role model by UKâs Chief Scout, TV personality, and adventurer Bear Grylls, as she honored hundreds of Scouts for their achievements at Windsor Castle on Sunday, April 21.
The 31-year-old duchess, who is expecting her first child with husband Prince William in mid-July, met the youngsters who had been presented gallantry awards after being nominated for their heroism and bravery in their daily lives.
Bear Grylls said that the duchess is an incredible role model as she showed that scouting isn’t just for boys. Calling her a generous volunteer, he also said that everyone is excited to have her in the Scouting family.
Most people are following her lead by getting involved and enjoying the adventure, Bear added.
Ever since, Kate joined the Scouts in 2012 as a volunteer, the organization has registered over 2,800 adult volunteers joining in, which is the second largest rise since 1986.
It seems like from fashion to Scouting, everyone wants to follow in the footsteps of Kate Middleton.
