Kate Middleton revealed on St. Patrickâs Day ceremony (March, 17) that she and her husband Prince William has separate hopes for the first child due on July.
Lee Wheeler, an Irish Guardsman asked the 31-year-old duchess if she knew the gender of her baby, to which she replied she didnât know yet, reported The Associated Press. Wheeler said that Kate wanted a boy whereas William hopes for a girl. He also said that the royals didnât finalize names for their baby.
The duke and duchess of Cambridge were visiting Mons Barracks at Aldershot in Hampshire to commemorate centuries-old tradition of presenting sprigs of shamrocks to the Irish Guards. Kate wore a green knee-length coat with a golden shamrock brooch and a sprig of shamrocks attached to her coat.
Kate is currently five months pregnant is due to give birth in July.
