It’s been a busy weekend for Kate Middleton with her son Prince George’s christening event and then attending a the charity event organized by 100 Women in Hedge Funds since giving birth, the duchess was seen shopping at Zara Home at the Tony Sloane Square on Friday, Oct. 25.
So what did Kate buy? Well, tableware.
The store’s employees were notified about Kate’s arrival around noon before she arrived and shopped in the store, grabbing some platters with portraits of tropical birds on them. One store employee said that the Duchess of Cambridge purchased them as presents.
Another store associate, who wanted to be anonymous, said that Kate didn’t look anything like in the magazines as she wasn’t wearing any makeup. She just dropped in, shopped around, paid for the goods and left.
Earlier at Prince George’s christening event, Kate and her husband Prince William announced seven godparents for Prince George. All members of the British Royal family, Kate’s family and Prince William’s former childhood nanny, now part-time nanny to George, and Jessie Webb as well as all seven godparents attended the ceremony.
Later, the official photographs from Prince George’s christening have been released on Oct. 24, a day later after the royal christening ceremony on Oct. 23.
