Pregnant Kate Middleton has christened the new cruise line, Royal Princess smashing a huge massive $1,500 champagne bottle of Moët & Chandon Impérial on Thursday, June 13 in Southampton, England.
The 31-year-old Duchess, who is expecting her first child in July 13 with her husband Prince William, snapped the ceremonial rope which sent the massive 4-gallon bottle smashing into the hull of the 3600-passenger luxury ship.
Kate delivered a formal blessing for the ship saying that she names this ship Royal Princess and may God bless her and all those who sail in her.
This special event by Kate will be her final solo appearance in public as she takes on maternity leave on the same day.
The event was attended spectators from charities she, Prince William and Prince Harry serve as Patrons such as East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice, Kate’s charity, SkillForce, Which is Prince William’s charity and WellChild, which is Prince Harry’s organization.
