Kate Middleton attends celebrations of Britain’s Olympics and Paralympics medal winners at Buckingham Palace

Kate Middleton appeared in super tall stilettos as she graced the Buckingham Palace celebration gala event to honor the medal winners of the London Olympics and Paralympics on Tuesday night.

The Queen also attended the event as well as the royal relatives and athletes, reported Daily Mail. Apparently, Prince William didn’t make it to the event, as he was on duty.

The Duchess of Cambridge donned an amazing dress designed by Alive Temperly which was paired with little black clutch. Kate’s shoes were a big higher than usual this time, which complemented her knee high dress flawlessly. The lower skirt was decorated with flowers providing sheer covering on the shoulders and the sleeves.

Among the attendees were Zara Phillips, who is a both royal and a medal recipient. Zara won silver for the team at the Olympics Equestrian games, helped in introducing the athletes to The Queen, who is her grandmother.

British Prime Minister David Cameron and other government officials and several other royal members made the evening a special one for the Olympics medalists. But what made the event successful and inspiring was the mingling of the Olympics and Paralympic medal winners.
