The 31-year-old duchess is expecting her first child in July with husband Prince William. The couple has been approved by the planning commission to undertake a major building project at Anmer Hall, which is 10 bedroom Norfolk mansion on the grounds of Sandringham royal estate. The estate has been given by the Queen Elizabeth II as a country pad.
The late-Georgian country home is located only two miles from the Queenâs Sandringham House, where the royals usually celebrate Christmas.
Kate and William currently are staying in a rented property on Anglesey and are waiting for the renovation work to be completed in their Kensington Palace in London. When they arenât on Anglesey, they reside at the one-bedroom Nottingham Cottage in West London.
However, Kate and Prince William will move in to their renovated Apartment 1A within the Palace itself, which once was the home of Princess Margaret.
